This project for the Bunnings Commercial Development was successfully completed this year 2015.  Whitfield Excavations won the contract by tender through 4Dimensions Building Contractors.  Works began in December and drew to a conclusion in April  ahead of schedule with no hold times and no injuries throughout the contract.

Contract overview:

Our operations began by clearing the site in preparation for building pads of the new development.  The stripped topsoil was stockpiled on site for the entirety of the contract to be used as fertile soil for garden bed and native area.

In preparation the site was cut and filled including the final trim to finished Earthworks Level design levels.  The required compaction effort to be achieved was 98% standard with a 20mm Class 2 Crushed Rock.

Into the late stage of the project we were to return to prepare areas for carpark areas for pavement, install concrete kerbing providing all equipment labour and materials.

All works were successfully delivered on time and within budget.
